Established in 1966, St. Bonaventure is a private Catholic school in the Diocese of Orange located at 16390 Springdale St., in the city of Huntington Beach. St. Bonaventure is a fully accredited Western Association of Schools & Colleges institution and enrolls approximately 500 students serving grades transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Home of the Saints, the school provides a rigorous academic curriculum and Catholic education with Christ centered teachings to provide a memorable learning experience. St. Bonaventure supports a holistic approach to their studies and expands education beyond the classroom to support the intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of each student. The core subjects of math, science, religion, language arts and social studies create the foundation of learning at St. Bonaventure. The school also provides several enrichment programs including music, drama, visual arts, STEM courses and classes in Spanish where students have an opportunity to study the language and learn about Latin culture. Students of all grades participate in physical education and St. Bonaventure offers an afterschool Athletics Program featuring competitive sports in a Christian environment. Featured sports include boys and girls flag football, basketball, volleyball, softball, co-ed track and cheerleading. The school is an affiliate of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Parish.

This is our first year at St. Bonaventure. The teachers, parents and staff are very involved and care about the children. I would recommend St. Bonaventure. We are very fortunate in that we live in an area where the schools are great. We also have the means to send our child anywhere. We are extremely satisfied with our selection of St. Bonaventure. In rating the school's diversity, this is not a fair question as most of this area is not very diverse.
