Founded in 1953, St. Joseph Catholic School is a pre-K through eighth grade school that prides itself on academic excellence rooted in the Catholic tradition.
The school has been awarded the United States Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence twice. In addition, the school’s students scored in the top 15% of all U.S. schools in both language arts and math, earning St. Joseph’s the “Exemplary High Performing School” honor.
The school serves approximately 450 students from about 300 families from four area counties.
There’s a computer for every student at St. Joseph’s, so children are exposed to technology from the start. In addition to the basic curriculum, the school offers a variety of arts programs, gifted classes in language arts and math, and Spanish classes. In every grade, students participate in community service projects. And parents volunteer more than 7,000 hours a year at the school.

I was at St. Joe's k-8 and I enjoyed every bit of it. The people there become like family and you know almost everybody. I feel like I was prepared well for high school.

The school has punished my child for reporting a physical threat made by another child. This heavy handed level of enforcement to groom children not to report harm is unacceptable. Its poor decisoning by the very inexperienced Principal. We are filing legal action.
