GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved the culture at Katahdin High School. Because of how small the towns are, everyone knows everyone. Moving in late in the year was worrying for me, but with the people at Katahdin, I felt welcome. Unfortunately, because of how rural this area is, there weren't as many opportunities.

There are some changes that were good but the Superintendent is killing our school one program and one teacher at a time.

This school leeches the creativity and individuality from its students. There is no denying that.

Terrible. Rules don't make sense. Teachers are very unfriendly and treat most students like dirt. Lots of favoritism and unfairness.
