Growing up I had gone to school in Essex, IA all my life. Before my senior year, I had to make the tough decision to transfer to Stanton High School in Stanton, IA. Going into it, I was unsure of how the transition would be. After being at Stanton for 6 months, I can say that this was the best choice I have made. I have been given opportunities to further my academic education, advance athletic ability, and join a variety of extra-curricular activities. Stanton has welcomed me with open arms, and it really feels as if I have joined another family.

All areas are not handicap accessible without going outside to get from one level to another.

Stanton has an excellent school system. The administration, teachers, and support staff put the kids first, and want them to excel in all aspects.
