Robert E Lee is a amazing place and there is a lot of wonderful people there and wonderful thing about the school. It is a great school only thing I want to change is making the school lunch a little better.

Very welcoming, homey feeling type of environment which is surprisingly hard to do for a highschool.

My experience here at the school was amazing, I say this because of our school's name change. Because of the pandemic in 2020 and the Black Lives Matter Movement, the name of the school was brought upon publicly because of the name " Robert E. Lee" who was a confederate general making him racist. Our school took a stand and we finally made the name change to "John R. Lewis High School." I was a part of that experience taking a stand and it made me feel amazing being a part of the history of the school. My 4 years here at John R. Lewis High School was a roller coaster, but it was worth it at the end because of the permanent change not only I caused, but the rest of the school as well.

It has a problem with losing teachers but continues to hire every...

As a student I have really enjoyed my time here at Robert E Lee. The name betrays the school, however. It is an incredibly diverse and loving environment in which students of all types are given many opportunities from specialized magnet schools, vocational education programs, and many opportunities...
