The teachers truly love their job, and they want their students to excel. However, a few of the students cause trouble in the school which gives it a bad name. The faculty is really a shining example of what a school should be like.

There are students from all different types of homes, cultures, and religion. Every year the school tends to receive about two foreign exchange students.

My child has had no issues while going to SV. He is in sports and remains in the honor roll while taking many advanced classes. We have had no safety issues or issues of bullying. I’m only speaking from our experience and we have nothing bad to say.

Teachers and staff are terrific! My child was able to take college credit courses and I felt he was well prepared for his future. The school has gone through a few changes in adminstration over the last few years. The new Superintendent has vision and the school is making great strides.
