As a "unpopular" student attending Stillman Valley High School with average grades- life is already unfair and everything is against me. Add to that the fact I am a trans kid and everyone else here seems to be offended if someone isn't a straight white kid- the odds worsen. The teachers are better than the students, but in some cases not by much. Some of the policies and rules that are held here are extremely biased and the procedures for certain offenses are incredibly unbalanced.

I think there needs to be more diversity and the school needs to be updated. The athletic facilities were very outdated and the educational resources given to use were often lacking.

My experience at Stillman Valley High School Illinois is fun yet, get very much education. I get help when I need it from teachers. Students will help anyone around the school. SVHS Illinois is one out of two schools that still do May Day, which is a amazing tradition to do.

This is not a good school for college readiness, and I have no idea why anyone thinks that. There is little to no homework and it's very sad. We moved to Stillman to avoid sending our daughters to Rockford Public Jr. high and high schools. It was the best move we ever made. So many awesome teachers!
