GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was in woodland from junior year and graduated class of 2022. They taught me a lot and shown me compassion and knowledge I needed to go out into the real world

Woodland High School is a very close knit community with small town mentality. Most of my teachers were great, I always liked my English teachers the best, and my classes adequately prepared me for college, especially my College Prep English class. Because it was so small, everybody knew everybody, also because most of us had been in the same class since preschool. That's not always a great thing because then everybody is in everyone's business. I believe there is also a problem because parent's of schoolchildren also know everyone's business and it has been known that 'powerful' families/parents have a lot of say in school issues which I don't think should happen. I don't miss it and am looking forward to the rest of my college career with some fond memories of high school, and some not so fond.

They either care too much about grades or not enough.

The teachers don't listen. Nobody at the school knows what they're doing. The administration is always on you if you do the smallest thing, even if you had good intentions. Overall, not a good place for students and wouldn't recommend.

First of all Woodland School is in Livingston county not Lasalle. Very good country school, parents and teachers work very well together. You do not have the rat race you might find in city schools. The school has a good working relationship with other area schools
