Corwin is great school for students who are a bit quirky, and have trouble in the public school. The classes are very small, and faculty knows each student and their needs. One of the most interesting things is that they take the entire month of January and the whole school puts on a play. This is used for teaching, but also for social interactions, public speaking and team work.

Pretty much everything we had to negotiate for at our last school (being able to stand up during class, a safe place to go to if you feel overwhelmed, flexibility in assignments, help with executive functioning, etc.) is just the way this school operates.
