John Yeates Middle School is a perfectly average school. What needs to change the most is the school size and removing the rooms in mobiles. Those were an absolute pain when you had a project due (ex: a model of the solar system) and it was raining, below freezing, or windy. When I was a sixth-grader, I had 2/7 classes indoors, and the gym was usually the temperature outside.

We moved here in 2021 just as the pandemic was beginning to wind down. The staff has been incredible!! There are a TON of extracurriculars and the administration is very engaging. Very happy my family made the leap of faith to have a little farther drive to base to be in this district.

This is the most unorganized school with horrible teachers. My child has an IEP that is never implemented and the policy on bullying isn't implemented. My son is doing terrible despite all our meetings, emails and conferences with the school

Her teachers have been wonderful and the work was challenging and rewarding for her. The school is very old though, but it is for the most part clean. My...
