The best part of my high school experience at Kempner high school has definitely been the fine arts program. Our band and color guard program encourages school involvement, spirit, fitness, and sharing a goal while working as a team. My least favorite part about Kempner is how easily situations which need to be addressed are dismissed. I also wish that the lunches were distributed better so the lines would not be as long and I wish our bathrooms were fixed because right now we only have 1-2 restrooms per story.

Overall Kempner is a pretty bad school. Throughout years I have experienced relentless solitude. Having no friends and forced to be alone all of the time. As student were more interested in their phones than having any sort of social skills to speak to someone that they didn't already know entering high school. Being apart of the Kempner Swim Team wasn't a much better experience either. My teammates would have their own friends and decided that they didn't want to speak to me despite my kindness. Some people didn't speak at all and some choose to be fake and speak when they wanted me to do something for them. And after that task was complete they returned to their usual routine of ignoring me. Never once caring to develop a further relationship with me. But Kempner isn't all filled with selfishness stuck up horrible people. The one thing that is a major positive is some of my teachers and administrators. They have been very kind and supportive of my education and athletic careers.

My experience with this school was not good. While this school is academically rigorous and competitive the environment it fosters is competitive. You can feel the tension in the air. Teachers cannot teach if you know, you know. Some teachers are creepy. Their behavior is weird towards the students.

The school used to be among the best in all areas, but in recent years has become one of the worst. There is little discipline enforcement by administrators, which allows less time for teachers to do their job. I sent multiple kids to the school through the years, and it was a much better experience...

Personally I've had an alright time at Kempner for the last 3 years. In terms of academics, it really has all that you need to succeed.

Excellent school. Our eldest is graduating this year with college scholarships and we are excited to send our other daughter to this school

The staff are rude and disrespectful to the students and all the students have simple solutions but the principal won’t listen to reason because she’s being difficult. Simply to put it a small group of 4 or 5 people making a bad decision to fight shouldn’t result in punishing the other 2,000 student...
