Suitland was my only highschool but from how it's been going I'd say it wasn't bad. It's fun, engaging, and a pretty good overall environment with lots of involvement in its community. While things like the building, staff, and the way certain things are handled need to be changed it's a decent school.

I really like SHS, I've gotten closer with some of the staff over the years. SHS is really like a family sometimes at school wide activities. Some teachers are great others are ok but all teachers make students feel welcomed.

I will admit that I had some strong reservations about sending my son to Suitland High, due to all of the negative attention that has been floating through the media, but it had a wide a variety of tempting programs available to the students...and I decided to take a chance. Although my son has yet...
