Sullivan High School's stunning brick and stone architecture at 6631 N. Bosworth Avenue echoes its longstanding value within the Chicago community of Rogers Park. Opened in 1926, Sullivan High School (Sullivan) enrolls approximately 650 ninth- through 12th-grade students with an average student-teacher ratio of 13-to1. Within its campus, the student body represents 38 different countries, which helps students develop a global perspective. Striving to encourage academic excellence and college-readiness in students, Sullivan High School offers a selection of Advanced Placement courses in English literature, composition and Spanish. Students at Sullivan High School may also supplement their core curriculum with guitar lessons, music theory and theater classes, or instruction in piano. A vibrant program of baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, wrestling, football, softball and volleyball have earned Sullivan High School recognition as one of the best schools for athletes in the state of Illinois. Regional champions in both girls' basketball and boys' soccer, Sullivan High School's blue and gold Tigers celebrate school spirit and achieve well-earned victories. Having been an essential part of Rogers Park for almost a century, Sullivan High School continues to prepare students for future success.

Sullivan is a good school . I didn't really have a bad experiences in my time there. I think my experience would have been better if I participated in more school activities.

My experience with the teachers helping me get through tough times and tough work is undefeated. Also, this school is extremely diverse with races from all over the world, so you don't have to worry about fitting in.

My child got a mental health screening two times. The staff did absolutely nothing. He's had mental breakdowns he cried alot at school. The staff are like brandless zombies.

I went to this school. Graduated in 2000 . This school was the worst experience of my life . I had fear everyday coming here . Bullied all the time . School was filled with savage animals

The school is really good regardless of what people say. It has an excellence medical academy which allows students from less economical families to achieve a good job and career. There is also sports, dual credit enrollement and many other other opportunities
