This is my son's first year in middle school. He was bullied and the school effectively handled the issue.

Very pleasant experience. We moved from a different city and state where my son had a lot of problems with teachers and the staff was unfriendly. We had no issues with anyone here and his grades were even up. It was also easier getting him to go in the mornings.

This school is the worst in communication. They never update their school websites and no one in the office seems bothered.

I voted for the tax increase for DD2 schools for improvements that would be made to schools needing updated facilitys. Alston is long overdue for improvements to its facilities. One that should be a serious concern being the unlocked doors for anyone to enter during school hours having access to the...
