Cane Bay High was a typical public school to me. I had to really advocate for my daughter and did not receive a great response. They are overcrowded and understaffed like most public high schools. I feel the district could have done more to support students who wanted to achieve more out of their education.

My experience at Cane Bay High has been wonderful. My teachers provided me with the knowledge and understanding needed to prepare for the next level. I am a band student and the arts program is amazing. During my time at Cane Bay we have tripled the number of students in the band. We added two jazz bands. The band and choir are highly ranked in South Carolina. We have an amazing sports program as well. My worst part was the late bell in the morings. I would change the teachers giving you a 5 minute window before marking you late. I have enjoyed my last four years at Cane Bay.

I have had a solid experience with Cane Bay High School. My teachers have been kind to me, and they have treated me with respect. They have given me every opportunity to better myself and my academic success. My counselors could have provided me with more information on opportunities at my school. Overall, I am happy with my high school experience.
