GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sunapee was a great school education wise, it also was very successful with sports. The school is small which allows for small classes and makes it easy to get extra help when needed. The teachers are all very supportive and wish for the best for each kid.

I moved from a school other than this one Freshman year and I did not know what to expect because I had gone to school in the previous district my entire life. As high school progressed I found that the learning opportunities were much greater and something that I had not experienced before. I learned to push myself as a student and that it was okay to try hard.

Nearly everyone at SMHS is a student athlete, so there's lots of support.
