I think Amador High School is a very unique high school, in a good way. I have attended this high school for all 4 years of my education experience and I have not once not felt safe while being there. The campus is filled with positive energy and the teachers around are always there to be uplifting and encouraging.

Even though I did high school during Covid, my experience was not that bad. The school did a good job transitioning into online learning and keeping the school year engaging for students. The teachers and staff were really nice, which made me feel safe.

Overall Amador was a great place to be in high school. The Staff and teachers were always so helpful. Campus was always clean. I do wish that the district would give them some funding to update some of the classrooms.

I have attended this school for the past three years now and I must say that it is an excellent school. The teachers are attentive and you can really form a bond with them like I have with some of my own teachers. They expect you to do your best and when they see your potential, they will press you...

Very political place...positives: good principal, several electives offered. Negatives: the English dept, attitude of favoritism on the part of several teachers, too many teachers allow themselves to be distracted from their job by involvement in sports (as coaches). Suggest going to a private schoo...
