It's a pretty average school. I had some great teachers, but some were debatable. I wish there were AP or honors classes to challenge myself in.

The teachers are friendly and encourage everyone to participate in school activities. Academically students are pushed to try their best, the school has a great art program, but they focus on sports too hard

Everything in the school is very much available to the students. Not everyone is the nicest and the counselors aren't very understanding at all.

Syracuse is a great school and after reading the last 3 reviews it makes me mad. I graduated in 2003 and had a great experience. The school principal does NOT handle matters with class or respect. Today he threatened to suspend my daughter for getting beat up by another student. This school takes no responsibility for the actions of their students. The manner in which situations are handled are piss poor and lack adult supervision.
