GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience in Syracuse High School has been very good. The best experience I have had is my freshman year I had a teacher who didn't just teach me science but life lessons which I still use to tell this day. My worst experience is that the food here is not very good. One year there was mold in my bun. I have not eaten here since. I would love to see the food change into something better.

I had a great experience at Syracuse High School. The teachers I had work really hard to connect and inspire their students in order to prepare them for their best future. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for the teachers I had in school. The friends I made are friends that I hope to keep throughout my life. My time here was overall, just an incredible experience, and I am proud to call myself a Rocket.

There is a vast variety of extracurricular activities and all students are involved in at least one. Teachers are the sponsors for groups and are great at communicating with members and setting up opportunities to be active in the community at the local and national level.
