Columbia Highschool is a good school but sometimes the teachers can be a bit less understanding, but overall the teaching is really good and the school community is very welcoming.

if you’re not important in the eyes of the teachers, they will care less about you, and they won’t help you no matter what. Teachers say that you are wasting their time when you ask for a question, but isn’t that their job?

The school recently instituted something called core/flex to give struggling students extra help from teachers and to give students doing well some time to work on homework/study groups or just socialize. They also issue a laptop to every student. It's worked better than I imagined!
