I love my highschool but since we're in a poor area we have some safety problems that I want to change. We have something in place to help with safety but I kinda feel like it's not enough. Other than that I love this school it tries to give us the best chance possible. Everyone who works there are so nice and gives every student so many way to pass, learn, and understand what there learning.

During my time at Tahquitz I've grown a lot and learned how to manage my time and work throughout the week and continue to learn new things everyday. Counselors are really helpful when it comes to choosing your classes and getting ready for your senior year. My best experience would be taking a summer class called "Rising Seniors". This class helped prepare me for what's to come my senior year with college applications and financial aid. It allowed me to narrow down which colleges I want to apply to and what I want to major in. It also helped me discover the different types of financial aid out there and which college system is more better for you depending on what you want your future career to be. They also help you with scholarship essays and tips on college essays. One of my worse experiences at Tahquitz would be when I had to take a final for my college history class and the seniors were walking around campus for their last time and had music blasting over the school speakers.

My experience at tahquitz high school for 4 years it was not bad I just wish they would try to help students get more together with each other and get to know each other and know all the teachers more.

This school strongly discourage parent involvement. And, when you do contact teachers or administrators, or question actions or methods, they will discriminate against your student and harass your student. The math department is awful. 80% of the grade is based on tests and they have their own workb...

All schools can improve and so can Tahquitz but I will highlight some of the things they are doing right. They provide a lot of technology to use, if you ask for help they have tutors and even online tutors available 24hrs a day. A chromebook is provided for each student. I have known the staff to b...

I'm very disappointed in the leadership at this school. Just yesterday there was a fight on campus that involved parents and students. While they were fighting all of the administrators stood back watching. Allowing a student to break up the fight. Again , poor leadership!
