After attending Taylor High School, I had felt in no way was I prepared to take on a challenging degree at college. I was correct in my feelings, as now that I am an EC Engineer at UT, I had to learn all my study habits and understanding of how I learn on my own.

The school doesn't have much clubs but gladly I get to run our Jesus club which is one of 3 clubs that go on in the school. Also the school doesn't have a great amount of facilities for specific need just one big building that has a little help for each thing which isn't always.

There is a distinct lack of communication from administration to teachers, as well as from teachers to students. The Assistant Principals barely ever check their email, and counselors put students into classes they specifically requested not to be in. That being said, groups such as Band, Color Guard, and Academic Decathlon perform well every year.

Great group of teachers that work hard to make sure all students are learning to the best of their ability. Administration is in tune with the teachers and the students and are very supportive of their staff.

All three of my children graduated from Taylor High School in the last 13 years. All of them graduated from highly accredited universities (University of Texas and Texas A&M University in College Station) within 5 years. They participated in Band, Academic UIL, AcDec, National Honor Society and more...

Taylor High School is an excellent choice for families. There are many pathways for students to choose from. They have electives including health sciences, culinary, automotive (general and diesel), and welding from which students may earn a certification that could lead to gainful employment right...
