With the landmark South Mountain as a backdrop, South Pointe Elementary School serves students in full-day kindergarten through fifth grade in the South Phoenix area, just across the street from Hermoso Park.
At this tuition-free public charter school, the faculty teach children to make good choices, accept responsibility, give respect, honor integrity, and to collaborate with others. As such, the curriculum here is aligned with Arizona’s Common Core Standards and integrates project-based learning and teaching methods.
Among the school’s notable programs are English language acquisition services for any students who speak a foreign language. Additionally, South Pointe fosters a more communal culture among students with a House System where students are assigned to house teams for an array of friendly competitions, whether in kickball, flag football, tug of war, or other feats.

Very poor. Was good the first but they have allowed the thug like culture to grow into a very stressful environment for many students. That is parents fault as well.
