GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Griffin was a decent middle school for me. Teachers are great, the building is beautiful, and the club opportunities are amazing.

My second child to attend this school. Teachers and staff have been willing to help my kiddo with some issues before, during and after school. I appreciate the teachers that help out with Fine Arts, UIL and extracurricular activities to keep these students busy!

The new school is fantastic . My son has had great teachers! I have emailed a counselor twice with no reply but don't have that issue with teachers. The band program is really good, however a little intense for middle school age.
