As a practical and hands-on private school in the Atlanta area, the prekindergarten to 12th grade Galloway School elevates its curriculum with student-driven elective courses. Teaching science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, or STEAM, starting in first grade, the school's almost 700 students are constantly challenged by a wide range of content. The school holds students to a high standard rather than offering honors courses. However, AP classes are offered for all disciplines. Middle school students are given a choice of electives including robotics, coding, public speaking, moviemaking, and wilderness training. The school also has a number of immersion programs that provide learning-oriented field trips, including treks to Camp Twin Lakes, Jekyll Island and the Smoky Mountains. Clubs include calligraphy, mock trial, animal welfare, and science Olympiad. The athletics program covers junior and varsity football, volleyball, baseball and basketball. With accreditation from the National Association of Independent Schools, Galloway promises to guide its students to achieve a superior education, cultivating them with the maturity and self-discipline to manage their own learning.

Maybe more college readiness as well as an increased focus on the music programs, but the culture and teachers are amazing as well as sports have been doing well.

Amazing learning environment. The student support is top notch. Not the snobbery of other top private schools. And children develop a love of learning, which is key. Love the staff and admin.

Great school with opportunities, support, and advancement of self if one desires. I am a leader at my school. My school hears a student's voice and takes action for student needs if students verbalize a need. If you are dedicated, motivated, and want results in life, this is the school for you. The main change: more sports related events/competition and larger student body involved in sports.

Galloway is amazing. We visited numerous private schools in the Atlanta area before choosing Galloway. The teaching methods are incredible, they push "experiential learning", so learning is ALWAYS taking place, whether on the playground or in the classroom. The vibe is so welcoming and laid back, no...

My review is for the high school. I am extremely disappointed by Galloway. It's a smoke and mirrors exerience with little substance and many weak and unqualified teachers who spend most of the class time talking about their own political views and trying to brainwash kids. I had a positive experienc...
