Academics were subpar at best. Several friends went to other private schools and I feel received a better overall experience. As a transfer student, I wish I stayed at my previous school. It was difficult to find a core group of peers to relate to and the teachers seemed mediocre at best.

Truly amazing school. Biggest problem is its reputation! For example taft and Choate are more well known even though they aren't nearly as good in college placement and community life as LOOMIS.
