It's a really old building and the roof leaks. The teachers are professional and seem to care. The bare minimum is met, regarding resources and accommodations, but this school is in a poverty stricken area where students' only meal might be the school lunch. It needs financial assistance badly.

I've enjoyed my time at Athens High School and I believe we do as good as we can with what we have, but we have very little. The school has fallen into disrepair and has not been maintained because of the possibility of there someday being a new high school, a day which will likely never come.

Athens high school is a good school. I would dare to call it above average. Athens high school, although in one of the most impoverished towns in Ohio still has outstanding facilities, and classes you can take. I enjoy the diverse classes and the college opportunities. The school will be rebiult soon, and I am confident that it will be better than ever.

Excellent high school. They have a large number of AP classes in Math, Science, English and History. Fabulous Art, Music and Athletic departments.
