Desert Mirage in my opinion is a great high school and probably one of the best in the Coachella Valley. Here at Desert Mirage some of my best experiences have come from taking the opportunities that were offered to me by my teachers and peers. In health academy the academy I'm currently enrolled in i was given the opportunity to take something called concurrent enrollment classes at COD that have been so fun to experience. Through money of My peers I was able to get into a program at my school called PUENTE and now I have a counselor that actually understands me and the work I want to put in but also great teachers that have helped me throughout my highschool journey. Even with all theses positives my school does have it's fair share of problems such as the school trying to put an end to the drug problem since it affects the students and faculty in a negative way. But another thing is that our school has "temporary" structures in place that've been there since it's opening.

My overall experience would be calm but really dreary. To me what really makes a school is the atmosphere and it's a bit of a struggle to get through certain personal problems while in school especially because they are not understanding at all with their students.

This High School is by far "The Worst" on the planet! The have an inside never ending Joke of Racism by Students & Staff alike.
