THS was a good place for my education, but it definitely could be improved. In areas such as standardized test prep and college applications, the school could use more support for the students.

I actually attend Scholars Academy that is part of THS. I love the school and teacher here. The teachers really push you to do the very best. My classes were advanced so this will help in college.

My experience at Thomasville High was excellent. I love how the teachers allow you to get the grade you want. However, I would like an improvement in lunch.

Even when coupled with the "Scholars Academy", less then 60% of students pass the graduation test. They are in their 5th year of "school improvement" which means if they don't make AYP this year, the state could come in and take them over. Fortunately, the newspaper would never thing to publish anyt...

I think there's a lot of room for improvement and everyone likes to get behind the underdog... so it's all uphill from where the school is today to where it's going tomorrow.

Well I was once a student there at ths and loved it and it hasnt changed much but the teachers are very involved with the kids. I would persuade you to send your child and let anyone else you know about ths. They have one on one time eith you unlike tcchs.
