Thoreau is one of the better schools that I went too but there are some drawbacks to this school. One draw back is that the teacher sometimes has a hard time of being able to help you with a question about a topic. Another thing that sucks is that there are many students that abuse drugs. Things that I would change or would like to see change is the amount of time that a teacher can help with I would like to see that teachers are better equipped to help their students understand.

Well the school is great but I think they should do so much more for their students. I liked going to school but honestly it could be like jail at times.

I liked how the teachers would be treating the students. They would help them learn the things the need and they really get connected with the students here at Thoreau High school. I am proud that the school got me here and helped me get the education i needed for college. The thing i would want to see change is all the restrictions on the drinks.
