Thornton High School has its pros and cons just like any high school. The teachers here are great, as long as you pay attention, show up, and do your work. The school is a bit run down but that will soon be change with its new budling being built. The attitude and culture might be a bit low, but I don't have any other high school attendance to compare it too. One could easily show up make a good group of influential friends and have fun here, pursing to graduate. Sports culture is kind of low right now with some sports, but i think this will change with changes coming in. Overall, it's not bad, every classroom allows helps with work and there are opportunity's you can take if you need help. They could do a better job with classes and communication; I heard a lot of seniors were upset with their consolers and they course they gave them without any conformation.

The best part about Thornton High School is easily the diversity and teacher support. I have interacted with so many students of different backgrounds, and know all of my teachers very well. The worst part is the new rules that have been implemented, these include not being allowed to leave the lunchroom without a pass, being limited to using the bathroom in a class only twice a semester, and the commons no longer being open to students with food or during passing period.

Great school, I really enjoyed the IB programme and the Future Forward opportunities that allowed me to gain college credit in high school. While THS doesn't have the greatest reputation, the administration is putting in tremendous effort to improve the school however they can, and I think THS will only get better.

I was a freshman at this school and I dropped out before second quarter. I got invited in the IB program, even though I don’t live in the Adams 12 district. The work for IB is obviously supposed to be harder but teachers didn’t help very much, and I often didn’t even turn in homework for my Math tea...

Most teachers dont try to help students learn how they feel is best learning, they want to teach how they learn best, causing more people to fail.
