It would be dishonest to say I felt teaching here felt safe and positive . In 25 years of being in education , I have never seen such chaos and verbal and physical violence among and between students. Administration is checked out , avoids any conversations and places blame on hard working teachers . This school is a liability to any teacher that works here . I hope the state of Arizona steps in and helps them. The students that want to learn and whose voices are silenced by the noise and chaos of disruptive students and yelling teachers deserve better . They need to admit there is a huge problem and seek and get intervention from the state .

The superintendent wears shoes more expensive than the average teacher’s paycheck and I think that says a lot. This is a district more invested in appearances and creating a positive narrative for leadership to flaunt about than actually supporting students and teachers.

I have never been so happy to leave a school. Some of the kids and their families are truly amazing so supportive so kind and really just want their child to succeed.
