They offer dual enrollment and a wide selection of AP classes. This gives motivated students the opportunity to earn college credits and graduate with an associate's degree concurrently with their high school diploma.

My time here at Mitchell High School in Florida has been both good and bad, but it has been better on the whole. I like the school and I think I have learned more here than at my last school, which has enabled me to pass my tests. Some teachers could be better but many of them have helped me grow as a student. The downside is there are so many kids it is such a crowded school and makes it overwhelming at times.

Some of the best parts of James W. Mitchell High school is the amount of resources they give you to get ready for college, however, some teachers aren't the greatest. Another good part of this school is the amount of diversity it has. I have many friends of different races and I get to learn about all of their different cultures which I love.

They dont care about the students unless they are making the school look better with their grades. They dont care if kids are mentally okay or going through it at home. They don’t help the students that need extra help or struggling in certain subjects. All they care about is how the school looks to...

The school overall is great, but some of the teachers clearly play favoritism (chorus). The same people are recognized and celebrated while those a little more quiet go unnoticed.
