As an international student, I have found my experience at Emma Willard very welcoming. There are numerous events taking place regularly, and the community here is extremely close-knit.

Emma might appear as a place with a lot of resources, but when you really come in to this school, you will see that students are prevented from doing a lot of competitions that they want to do, and prevented from registering for the advanced courses that are on their list of recommended courses. When it comes to academics, I don't feel the support that I should feel. In fact, students are even being pulled back from having high academic achievements.

Horrible liberal school. Wasn’t allowed to go to friends weddings or outings as they didn’t think I was mature enough (by 15, I had lived in about half a dozen countries). Bullied and did not fit in. If you are an individual that is different, go somewhere else.
