GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The food there is not all that great although it is starting to improve. The teachers there are a hit or miss. Some of them are absolutely phenomenal, while others couldn't care less about their students needs or mental health. I am in above classes so that statement only applies to honors and AP teachers. The Agriscience program is great and I have enjoyed myself and learned a lot attending it.

The best part about this school would definitely be how big the school is, building and student-wise. You can definitely make a lot of friends here at Trumbull High. However the one downside is that depending on your counselor, they can either make or break your Highschool experience in general. Whether it be which classes your taking or suggestions or even someone to talk too.

Change I would like to see would be having a say over the central air in the school. Its been a pattern in which during the winter the heater is blasted, overheating students while freezing others. Whereas in the summer the AC is turned up to the point where it is cold inside school yet outside. Having the ability to change this would benefit students overall as often times the right temperature in environment can have students focus better on their school work.

As the parent of a senior heading to a great college (and accepted at many others!), I have to say my family had an amazing experience at Trumbull High School and Trumbull Agriscience program. If one takes full advantage of all the opportunities the school offers, one will certainly be successful. W...

From dean down to the police stationed there it is terrible and needs a lot of work, they discriminate against p...

Class of 2022BULLYINGThe other reviews about being bullied are awful but I do have to say the school has changed, and I never heard of any instances of bullying outside of 2-3 minor incidents throughout my high school career. Some of that probably has to do with COVID, but still they have improved m...
