I think Cholla is an amazing school. People tend to have a negative view towards it, but I don't think it should be that way. We have passionate teachers that do everything within their power to support students in any way possible and that encourage us to ask questions, always. The teachers believe more in us than we believe in ourselves. I have met some of the smartest people in that school, I'd even dare to call them geniuses because that's what they are. The sad part is that they hide that but if you look deep within, you'll realize it's there. I think something that differentiate us is the courses we offer. My personal favorite the IB Diploma. This course changes the way we think and ask questions that leave us thinking beyond. I think that the major thing that comes out of this is the growth mindset and the skills we learn there whether we choose to attend college or not will be used further in life. We also have an incredible sports medicine program; I wish I could write more.

Overall I had a roller coaster experience. Due to the uncommitted administration my senior cheer season was cut very short after issues the staff did not attempt to resolve. As for the teachers all my experiences with them have been very good.

The best parts of my experience are all the activities the school does. Dances like homecoming were really fun and the football games. I enjoyed a lot of my classes throughout the years. The teachers here really improved a lot of my experience, and I think they're really a big part of why I had a lot of fun here.

This school was only wonderful if you took the IB classes, AVID, or dual enrollment. The teachers in those classes are helpful and they WANT to teach. If you are planning on enrolling your child to this school, have them enroll in IB, especially IB history.

when I was a student at this school, the staff never cared for the students, bullies were rampant and violent. students were disrupting class and the teachers did nothing but allow it to happen and often times quit teaching because of the students misbehavior. some of the teachers would even ignore...

Teachers here can be very supportive, they engage closely with students. Students here often just float through high school a normal rate, I would say the school has gotten better over time.

This is a great school! Lots of projects are taking place during Covid. New floors, lots of painting, gym redone and more. This school offers the IB program that all kids can try and earn free college credit. My child is doing amazing here!
