The health and safety at the school is pretty okay. The school nurse, while legally limited in what they can do for a kid (they can't even give out cough drops. But they do give out lemon candies instead to help with sore throats and crackers for upset stomachs) does what they can. The safety has never been a problem, so they have never had sweeps for drugs or contraband.

It definitely isn't the greatest school in the world. The lunches are for the most part tasteless, and don't have options for unique diets. They used to have a salad bar, which was great, but for some reason it was pulled out, and now students are forced to take a fruit or vegetable side, except Tempe side is usually under or over ripe. Because of this students who can't afford to bring a home lunch are forced to eat bland over ripe food.

If I could give 0 stars I would without hesitation! My daughter's first day of school the librarian was VERY rude to her, yelling at her. Its not my daughters fault they have old broken Chromebooks!! Welcome to a no back pack school because the kids cannot stop bringing drugs and weapons to school. It is very well known by all the local police departments and probation officers alike.
