There seems to be a lot of hype around that school, which my husband and I don't really understand. In addition to the typical issues every school deals with, there's the problem of the underlying ideology that informs Waldorf. There appears to be a gap between the staff and families; some feel the school isn't Waldorf enough, while many parents, including us, think there's too much of that Waldorf nonsense. I don't feel that students in need are well-supported, and those who could shine academically are presented with challenging work here.

What a gem this school is. Band, art, woodshop, sports, caring teachers. Stellar academics. I have yet to meet one staff member that doesn’t care. Run, don’t walk, to get your child into this school. Special education is top notch.
