Overall, I would say that James Logan is a relatively nice public school. I'm heavily involved in the performing arts, and can see that the departments are a higher caliber compared to other public schools around me. The community feels a little clique-y, but it isn't too difficult to find your place here. In terms of change, I'd like to see more recognition for the performing arts program, specifically drama and choir.

This school comes with much diversity and had the chance to build multiple connections with all sorts of people but from time to time, there was a fear of public safety.

The education at JLHS is subpar. Rather than giving the students a strong and solid foundation, the curriculum is heavily geared to pushing teachers person world views. This infiltrates courses from history to English to their required Life Skills and ethnic studies courses. It also takes time away...
