I enjoy going to Unity Christian for many reasons. They have a good, Christian base which is very important to me. The teachers are kind, and it has a difficult but effective curriculum. I enjoyed playing baseball, track, and cross country but stopped playing them so I can work and pay for college. I don't like the strictness, but I understand that they have to keep a tight watch on things, like phones. It stays clean, and the FFA is enjoyable. We have welding, carpentry, horticulture, ag business, and wildlife classes included in the FFA.We participate in competitions with the FFA, and usually do pretty well. Last year, the ag mechanics team that I was part of placed second in the state competition. We also sell sweet corn, have a soup supper, community service, flower sales, and other fundraisers to keep the FFA financially independent. I am the treasurer this year, and learn a lot about responsibility. It is a good school, and I will miss going here, especially FFA activities.

Unity Christian has been a good school to attend. Their academics are difficult, but I feel like they make it their goal to prepare you for college academically. However, I feel like when it comes to scholarships and submitting the FASFA, it was very difficult for families who were doing it for the first time because there was no guidance or help. I also feel very scattered as a student because I do not feel prepared for college in the sense of what to expect.

I appreciate that the teachers at Unity care about their students and equipping them with a solid faith experience and giving opportunities to grow.
