USHS has a reputation as one of the best high schools in Ohio. It lives up to this reputation in many areas. The school does lack diversity & the math programs could be better, but overall, it is a solid HS education. Music & the arts are strongly supported.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE OF ANY MINORITY I was lucky enough to find a group of people like me witch made my experience here a lot better but if you are black Hispanic Arab gay trans or any one who isn't white and straight you will never truly fit in and will be reminded of how different you are everyday

The educational experience is excellent, such as the classes offered and the extracurriculars. The facilities are also very nice, since we recently got a new school. There are not many negative parts, but if I had to choose one, it would be the food. Even though it is probably above average for most high schools, it could use some extra variety.

The previous comment by 'A Community Member' from May 2014 is very accurate. And the disconnect that he/she indentified between the administration, teachers, students and parents has grown increasingly worse. UAHS has compromised the values that made it great a great school for previous generations....
