Over the past 12 years I have had a great experience going to Ichabod Crane Senior High school. I have gotten really lucky because all of my teachers were amazing and driven to make the learning for their students the best that they could. I wouldn't have it any other way. I had a great time playing sports with very good coaches and am lucky to have been able to go to Ichabod Crane.

I grew up going to Ichabod and honestly it was a good enough experience. That being said the teachers I've had since middle school have always told me that colleges will not accept the type of effort I do and now I'm stuck in a situation where I don't want to apply to more than 20 colleges but I'm now getting scholarships and direct admissions to good colleges after filling my common app spots with colleges that will possibly not give me what I'm looking for in terms of aid. I will miss this place even with this situation.

I always liked how small Ichabod Crane was. You know everyone in your grade and a majority of the people in other grades. It is a very tight knit community of students who have grown up together. The one thing that I may suggest is listening to the input by students. Some of the staff are very good at communication, but others, I feel, can't accept that they are wrong and come to an agreement.
