Absolutely amazing 4 year experience. I love everything about my school. From the teachers, sporting activities, and lasting friendships I have been able to make. Lowndes High school has taught me how to persevere through tough times as well as allowed me to understand the value of hard work and what it truly means to chase after your dreams and aspirations.

Lowndes High School is a great school. The teachers are invested in their students and the sports, fine arts, and STEM departments are very well-funded.

Lots of favoritism and politics in the school. If your child is one of the big Valdosta families, you are guaranteed a spot in any club or sports team. The staff is disconnected from the kids and shows little interest in teaching/ coaching young athletes.

Horrid school. The flag incident, Kendrick Johnson, overall censorship of actually important things. There is no GSA or help for lgbtq+ students, I mean the solution for a hate crime at this school was to just ban flags.
