The school is pretty good, all of the staff members would consider our ideas very well and would put in a lot of time in helping us succeed. The thing that i don't like about my school is that it has too much freedom. You can use phones in the class and goof around.

As a field trip leader, I work with all the elementary schools in Vancouver. Chinook is low-need with a low reduced lunch rate but the kids from the lower-resource neighborhood schools show up better able learn and much better behaved. Parent and teacher engagement was low; only 2 out of the request...

Both my girls go to Chinook and couldn't be happier. Teachers are great and caring. Office staff is friendly. Love the Principal and AP Mr Lapidus and Mr Jordan. My kids come home each day telling excited stories about the things they did. The only thing I wish they had was on location classes for k...

So happy with this school. Office, principal and teaching staff are wonderful. Every child succeeds. You just need to walk the halls and feel the warm happy environment. I have 3 very happy kids in this school. Best choice I have ever made.
