GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

They made sure if I was struggling in class that I was never left behind. They made my high school experience one to remember. They always lead me down the right path to be the most successful I can be.

Vega High School has a very good learning experience. You can get a lot of one on one help, and there is always extra opportunities for help. The staff is great here, and so are the students.

I like how Vega High School is a small high school, and I have formed a connection with the other kids in high school, as well as have gotten to know some of the teachers. At Vega, I know that the staff would write me a recommendation letter if I ever needed one, and I feel as if they have taught me a lot, not just about their subject, but also about life. Although in a small school there can be some drama, the teachers and superintendent are quick to shut it down, which makes for a much less stressful school year.

My daughter transferred to this school in the seventh grade. Her grades have never been better and they have amazing school spirit.
