I would recommend Core to anyone parent in the school district. With a small class size threw 8th grade, it has a strong sense of community.

Our children attended Core Knowledge for 5 years and we had mixed experiences. The vast majority of the teachers were outstanding and deeply dedicated to the success of the students. We also appreciated the opportunity and expectation to be involved in the operation of the school and the leadership...

It has been a wonderful experience for our daughter and us as a family. She has excelled in many ways, academically as well as all round development . Amazing teachers, great leadership and great amount of parent involvement. CKCS challenges the children with outstanding results.

They have a problem with teacher retention and hiring experienced people. They are also not good at meeting the needs of kids who have special needs or considerations, more of a "one size fits all" policy. They do not address serious behavior issues that are dangerous to other kids in the classroom.
