I love the culture at Volcano Vista. I am proud to be a hawk. Extracurriculars are great, but the curriculum could use some improvement.

The best part of my experiences at Volcano were the honors classes. I feel like they taught what I was looking for and they were the right amount of challenging. I especially enjoyed the science and math programs offered at the school. One negative thing about this school is definitely the faculty. I feel like most don't try and build meaningful connections with the students. I've experienced countless teachers who are just there to get the lesson over with and don't really care about the individuals they're teaching.

Volcano Vista has provided me many opportunities, such as through its Orchestra program or Technology Student Association. My academic experience varies depending on the teacher, many are exceptional but others don't cover the curriculum sufficiently.

My child told me about several instances where they were harassed in the school parking lot with no security around and no cameras. The two harassers continued this for several months before I had to pull my child o...
