Parents should focus less of schools overall education performance numbers and focus on the diversity rate percentages. There’s a reason Wake Forest Heritage Elementary is 18% Black and/African American.

Great schools has changed how they rate schools and does not seem to be accurate. This school was previously rated as a 9 or 10 and dropped to a 3. They continue to have test scores soaring above state average. I think they are giving more weight to student progress but if they are already in the to...

Heritage is a fantastic school. The teaching and administrative staff are fantastic and the community is actively involved in the schools. There are also fantastic electives!
