I'm an 8th grader who's about to graduate this middle school in a few weeks and let me say, Benjamin Stoddert has been a terrible experience for me. I don't even know where to start. I was a straight A student entering this school and then i had a massive slump from 4.0 to below a 2.0 but I went back to high honors during virtual learning which I'm so grateful was a thing. Lots of bullying that does not get addressed, and if it does the student who was bullied also receives a punishment. Lots of fights inside the school, outside the school and behind. Lots of drama especially 6th grade.Lots of cyberbullying that doesn't get addressed at all and fight pages on Instagram students post but receive no punishment. Lots of teachers that tend to try to embarrass a student in front of the whole class and get on your nerves. If you're a parent and you are trying to decide whether to send your student to stoddert or not, I recommend not to, you might see their whole persona change or maybe not.

Overall this school was a good experience because if I didn't go there I would not have met so many amazing people that care deeply for me. But the lunch is not the best and there aren't many choices. Lastly if I could go back and change my school I would not because I needed a change in my life and to see the real world a little more.

This maybe the worst school in Waldorf/ Charles County my son told me how the school has rats. And the safety is not where it should be. and it's kids vaping and smoking in the school and the schools safety is very bad.

I'm still trying to figure out why some students are "required" to walk to school by wooded areas, in the dark and alone (A.M. & P.M.). There should be buses for all students. I guess everyone is waiting for the kid's faces to be on a milk carton before someone does an investigation on the boundarie...

At one point this school was the worst in Charles County but I'm here to tell you that's no longer the case. With amazing teachers and administrators who care, this is the BEST middle school in Charles County!

A lot of things are changing for the better in this school. The school has a new principal, Mr. Schroeck, who is all about the kids. We as parents need to work together with the school to make this a better school. Every concern I have when I write to my child's teachers, principal or Mr. King (6th...
