My overall experience was phenomenal. The sports, teachers, and education was excellent. The realistic elements of this school are what make it unique, as well as how it prepares students to go to high school. I would choose this school again if I could do it all over again because it was a overall fun experience and I learned a lot from attending this school.

Alright listen, I don't know if this is just middle school or not but man, I love school. I know that sounds weird people always say "I hate school" "ah wanna go to school". That was me but now I like going to school. It's my social life, yes ok I don't like something's things about school like work...

This school is not good. But not bad either. So far my time at mattawoman has been interesting. Bomb threats, kids with drugs or weapons, someone pepper spraying another. Very interesting. This school is a Zoo! The Charles County Board of Education definitely needs to step in and take control. The Students control this school, not the Staff/Teachers. Principal Sonia Blue should be ashamed!!

As a former student, the school is not great, but not terrible. Though my time in this school was also one of the toughest years of my life. I was struggling with depression, anxiety, with very frequent panic attacks. I missed many days of school; when trying to confide in friends, they turned away....
